Graeme Connell

Graeme developed his communication skills working as a journalist, photographer and editor at daily newspaper companies in New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Canada and the United States. His journalism career also includes radio and television. He was publisher of the Fort McMurray TODAY, 1977 - 1982.

Following his successful news media career, Graeme joined Mobil, completing assignments in New Zealand, Canada and International, based in the United States. He directed the public relations activities at a senior level for three multi-billion mega projects.

He contributed to the book South (Man and Nature in Antarctica) and edited Synfuel (the story of the world's first gas-to-gasoline plant). He was a member of the 1968/69 New Zealand Antarctic Research Program, spending eight months on the southern continent as public relations/information officer and photographer, supplying news services to the New Zealand Press Association and New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation.

In the mid-90s he was associated with The Centre For Communication in London, England. In Canada, he contributed to the work of the Canadian Association of Petroleum producers and the Petroleum Communication Foundation.

Rachel Connell

A logistics and business specialist, Rachel has experience in small business administration in New Zealand, Fort McMurray, Lethbridge and Calgary. Her credits include special event coordinator at a large recreation centre and municipal government financial administration support.

More recently, she has gained experience in supervisory and management positions in the printing industry in customer service and pre-press production sectors.

 

 

 

 

Lois Connell

Lois has spent many years creating her own unique style. Her primary medium is watercolour but she utilizes all sorts of other techniques including acrylic, paper mache, mono prints, pen and ink and coloured pencil. Lois' work has reached an international audience.

Her solo exhibitions have kept her busy with the most recent being held on May 16, 1999. Lois is now working towards the next showing in late 2000. Visit Pukeko Loft for a peek at her exciting work!
